The Coordinating Asian Team were:

Indonesia – Japan – Korea – Singapore – Taiwan
Taiwan had started their first Choice Weekend in September 1989 assisted by the Coordinating Asian Team.

The very seriously discussed matters were the guidelines of the 7 qualities of the selection of presenters:
1. Discernable love & understanding for the Choice programme
2. Spiritual maturity – good catholic
3. Emotional maturity – can lend his/her shoulder to lean on
4. Social maturity – able to relate – bringing out the best of others
5. Have communication skills – spoken language is important
6. Leadership qualities
7. Rationality and adequate intelligence
The criteria for the selection of Choice WE Team:
A. Youth Male / Female
B. Couple
C. Priest/Nun
A1. Choice participant who has experienced the Choice Weekend
A2. Has a good personal appearance
A3. He/She is active and involved in after-care, follow ups
A4. Mature and grown-up in personality and way of thinking
A5. Has had an apprenticeship in a weekend
A6. He/She has been coached by the coaching team
B1. Have experienced the Marriage Encounter and Choice Weekend
B2. Have finished the bridge process and M.E. basic group
B3. Have a strong/good coupleness
B4. Have experienced the M.E. Deeper Weekend
B5. They have been coached by the coaching team
C1. Has experienced the Marriage Encounter or Sister Encounter Weekend C2. Has experienced the Choice Weekend
C3. Has had a certain length of confirmation period
C4. Before or after becoming a Weekend Team, he/she will have to experience the M.E. Deeper Weekend
C5. He/She has been coached by the coaching team
The Closing MASS & Cultural Night with lots of fun & delicious Japanese food were enjoyed by everyone.
